Sponsor the Athy Directory

We do not charge businesses/organisations to be listed on the Athy Directory, but we can’t run the site without monetary contribution, so we devised a Sponsorship Programme.

Every month we have 10 sponsorship places (seen on the right of every page, except for actual listing pages), which cost €50 per place. We then display the adverts randomly to every visitor that visits us, giving your place a 1 in 10 ratio of being seen. For example, if we have 1000 visits a month, your Sponsorship place will be seen 100 times.

These Sponsorship spots are first-come, first-serve, so if you have a particular month you would like to advertise for, please contact us immediately to book your place.

Your sponsorship place will consist of an image (200px wide, 100px tall) and up to 100 characters of text. This will link to either your Athy Directory listing or your own website.

If you do not have a suitable image, we offer a design service for your advertisement graphic. We charge a one-time fee and you can re-use the graphic as often as you like.

Sponsorship is completely voluntary, it does not affect your listing if you choose not to sponsor the Athy Directory.

Multiple Sponsorship Places/Discount

If you would like to purchase multiple sponsorship places for a single month (to increase your presence for that month, sponsorship of 5 places is the maximum for any month), that is possible, but there are no discount rates.
We do, however, offer discount rates if you wish to pay for a single sponsorship place for multiple months (ie a single Sponsorship place every month for six months).

Sponsorship Costs:

1 month - €50

6 months - €250 (1 month free!)

12 months - €500 (2 months free!)

Image Design - €50
(We design a 200px by 100px JPEG image using your imagery and graphics. 1 proof, 2 revisions)

Please note: As we are only launched the end of September 2009, we cannot make any guarantees over how many visitors we will get or how many clicks your sponsorship place will receive at this point.
